I do, too. It approaches some difficult questions seriously.
But from the beginning Eli was just Eli. Nothing. Anything. And he is still a mystery to me. John Ajvide Lindqvist

I found a short 3 minute promo of this show on Vimeo. Looks interesting.
I saw elements of Blade Runner, I Robot(book, not that movie) and '87 film Cherry 2000 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092746/
Now all I have to do is to find a place where that show is available, SVT will not allow me to watch any video content connected with Akta Manniskor due to some copyright nonsense.

Thats nice. I actually found uhh...a way to watch Akta Manniskor, so now Im up to date, but thank you for telling me whats going on and everyone else :D . But If you guys would want to tell what your thoughts are on the series that would be cool. It's such a compelling show, I love it.
It was really wierd to see Lacke, I had a fangirl squee when I saw him. He was actually nice, and clean and wearing a suit.
How are you watching it? I must know :) .
I downloaded it.
Eli held out his arms, laid them against Oskar's cheeks, brought his face closer.
"Be me a little."
And kissed him.

You can always download the episodes, if you wanna go that route. I usually don't download anything but music from iTunes. But, this was important.

Yeah I've had to resort to that too, nothing like a bit of illegal downloading  .

It actually looks really interesting, wouldn't be surprised if it gets remade into English.

I usually never do,but this was important

I kinda hope it won't be remade. America always ruins everything. I don't like living here

Does it have English subs? I can't speak Swe :(

You can download them as well :).
They were actually easy to find, there's a few different versions, but I think it's only the timing that's different.

Subtitles usually have a .srt extension.

Haven't posted here in almost a year, but I feel that I had to say something after watching ep 5-8 in succession tonight. Kåre is absolutely amazong in this, as is the actor playing his dad. Best performances I've seen in a Swedish-made tv-series... well ever I guess. And after some 3-4 episodes of awkwardness, the show as a whole has really picked up in pace and quality.
