Let The Right One In - John Ajvide Lindqvist

This is false advertising. Let The Old Dreams Die is not a continuation of Oskar's and Eli's story, it is not a sequel. Prepare for that, or you will be disappointed.

LTODD is a (only mild spoilers follow, no story content) separate story, with (almost) entirely new characters. It does takes place in the same universe as LTROI, but O&E appear only as subject of the characters' discussions, and as a backdrop to their lives.
But from the beginning Eli was just Eli. Nothing. Anything. And he is still a mystery to me. John Ajvide Lindqvist

We're quibbling over technicalities here, aren't we?
It is a real competition....sure, it's tied into promotion for LTODD, but it is a real competition.

I believe being a non-UK resident is what disqualifies you.
And me as well.

This is cool news.

I am very tempted to enter this.

All of John's back catalogue ... SIGNED!

Although I already have all his books that are in English, I don't have any that he has signed, or even touched (okay, that last bit was a little creepy).

My problem is that I would start to believe I had a chance of winning, and then when I don't win I would be crushed

Plus, there is the problem with ideas ... I don't have any.

Would it be cheating to edit down the one-shot I have already written? It only needs to lose about 400 words.

 :(

I say do it! Nothing ventured, nothing gained. What have you got to lose anyway? See this as an opportunity...
You can do anything you want... old writing, new writing, editing, adding , subtracting....Just do it!

You've got to be in it, to win it. Go for it :) . I am and all I've got is a title so far.
Someone from this site has to win, how humiliating would it be if an uninfected person won?

Anyway I don't think it would be cheating to edit the one you have down, it doesn't say anything about not doing that ;) .

Infected Team GB :D .
