Just for the fun of it I thought I would create an LTROI Film Trivia Quiz. The questions will range from very easy to very hard, but I'm going to try, even when obscure, not to get overly trivial or "nitpicky." The questions are going to tend towards the visual since we are talking about a film, but there will be a few dialogue questions as well. See how many you can answer just from memory without looking at the film. I expect everyone here will get 100% on this quiz.

I thought that everyone would know all the answers so there would be no need to respond at all.
Seriously, I was surprised how much I remembered from the film, so I really put this up as a fun quiz, no need to respond. I happened to notice what was on Oskar's bedroom door because of a personal hobby of mine and I was surprised that I remembered such trivial details. I knew what was on the candy box was because I reran that brief sequence to see what Eli's wording was exactly. I thought perhaps others would put up their own questions as a fun exercise.

The stove question is really trivial. I wouldn't have remembered that one except I wondered what that green thing was.
There are some things you notice because they go with the themes in the movie, e.g. "What color is the truck that passes over the bridge before Jocke gets chomped?"

They are in one of the transitional visuals between scenes like the red buds in the snow. The animals are after the toothbrushing scene and there is another transitional image of a statue immediately after. "What is the statue a representation of?"
See, once you get into it it is hard to stop.

Wow! That was a great deal of work "a_contemplative_life"! Excellent!
For the question about what Hakan's first victim says, I am going by subtitles since I don't speak Swedish. Maybe a native Swedish speaker could give an exact translation. I read in the subtitles Hakan asking, "Do you have the time" and the victim replies "I don't have a watch." But, this may only be a translator's interpretation and your answer may be better than what I remember!
For the record speed question, I didn't mean it was only for those under 40 years of age! Just that it would hard for those under 40 years old to know the answer from experience.
For the life preserver question, I wasn't thinking of the pool, I was thinking of Oskar's dad towing him across the frozen lake. But, there may be more than one life preserver in LTROI.

I probably couldn't pass my own quiz because I couldn't have remembered what was on the stove if I hadn't looked at that scene to see the money based upon the director's comments that he had wished he hadn't had a perfect array of Swedish currency in Oskar's hand. Also, I never noticed the animal on Oskar's milk glass until I reviewed the dialogue in that scene.
