They were lying quite close, skin to skin actually. And being touched releases endorphins that have a soothing effect.
Hmmm, I wonder whether Eli could have been sharing Oskar's dreams, with the skin contact? Or even directing his dreams?

.
I wrote about that in my Bloody romantic FF, really exiting. Yeah I wrote that when Eli kissed Oskar wile he slept (Oskar was infected by then) Eli could go into his drems and fix the nightmare. :)

Oh cool.

Have you put it on Fanfiction.net?

I can download it complete from FF.net but not from here. If I download it, I can read it on my phone when I am away from my PC.

A thread wakes after a long sleep!

Most discussion is about Eli's vampirism, but...
Eli had explained that the man had become … infected. And worse. The infection was the only thing in him that was alive. His brain was dead, and the infection was controlling and directing him. Towards Eli.
So, if Håkan's brain was truly dead, why would the infection have acquired his paedophile urges and be seeking Eli? The infection would surely only be interested in its own survival, not fulfilling its dead host's dreams.

Maybe I need a hobby.

It's magic. Logic need not apply.
But from the beginning Eli was just Eli. Nothing. Anything. And he is still a mystery to me. John Ajvide Lindqvist

I am reading the novel right now and another aspect that is mention is that Eli has to think about growing her fangs and claws and that it was painful at the beginning but later the pain was less. This is when Eli is about to attack Virginia. And about the basement scene too, how there seems to be two beings living in Eli but somehow she is able to keep some control over her vampire side, maybe that makes her different from other vampires. For example the man in the wig and the vampire woman she met both let their vampire dude take over and enjoy killing people while Eli does not.

I wrote a fanfic in which Eli can enter, and influence, Oskar's dreams.

Metroo is right. I'll wander off on a tangent, touch is very powerful. It can communicate a multitude of messages without a word

It's so powerful that the word is used metaphorically to describe a most intense feeling: "Being touched."

Also "touched" as in "touched in the head" or insane. I believed this came from the idea of being touched by God.

I'll break open the story and tell you what is there. Then, like the others that have fallen out onto the sand, I will finish with it, and the wind will take it away.
